30th Annual Green Mountain Invitational Tournament

Invitation to U10, U12 and U14 Girls Hockey Teams

(Levels: B and C, B teams and C teams play each other)

Date: January 6th - 8th, 2023

Fee:   $ 950.00 per team

 Place:  Withington Ice Rink, at Living Memorial Park, Brattleboro, Vermont

 Tournament:  Each team is GUARANTEED 3 games, governed by the rules of USA Hockey.

 Time:  First game begins 5:00pm Friday January 6th: Final game begins by 5:30pm Sunday January 8th.

Tournament Structure:

• The tournament will consist of 3 divisions (U10, U12 and U14).
• Your first two games played will establish placement by a point system.
  • 2 points for win
  • 1 point for tie
  • No points for loss
• In the event of a points tie, the winner will be determined by:
  1. Results of tied teams against each other 
  2. Least goals allowed
  3. Most periods led
  4. Coin Toss
  5. Tournament director makes final call
• Tournament director may make adjustments as necessary.
• Your points will determine your play-off position which makes your final game most competitive because you will be matched against the team at the same points level.
• Only the final games will be allowed overtime to determine winners.

Other Details:

• Mouth guards are required
• 3-12 minute stop time periods per game
• Teams must be ready to take ice 15 minutes before game start time.
• No admission fees charged at the rink; family friendly environment
